I usually suffer from dry skin and redness on my cheeks, which I have always had. Since I've started running, I've gotten clogged pores in my forehead and thus little buds. That's why I needed a facial cleanser as well as a cream, and this kit for dry skin (and redness, although it doesn't say described in the name), which also contains a serum was a win. I'm 20 and therefore a serum fits right there too. My skin is very sensitive and reactive to many things including skin products and makeup, so I have tested 1 product at a time to see if I get a rash and if so, what product. I also heard that you have to try the products for a few weeks before seeing results, so here is my review after using the facial cleanser as well as the cream every day for more than 2 weeks:
Facial Cleanser: foams up well and feels comfortable on the skin and does not dry in like my previous cleanses have done. It is still in use and I feel fresh after that. My buds in the forehead look much better and smaller after a week or two, so it does its job and it does it well. However, I get a little red all over my face right after use, but it quickly passes - no rash appears.
Cream: super long-lasting in use and absorbs well and does not leave an overly sticky layer on the face. As with the facial cleanser, it becomes red all over the face immediately after application, but this also passes after a relatively short time.
Serum: I've only tried the serum once, but it doesn't cause any rash either. It doesn't have to be used very much and my skin gets a nice glow afterwards.
All in all: after using the facial cleanser and cream for just two weeks, my skin feels much better than before. Not dry at all, and my cheeks also look less red. However, sometimes I get small pimples that I didn't used to get before, but they get better after just one day of using the products and go away completely after a few days. After using the serum once and applying cream after, either the cream or the serum began to peel, so I could not apply the cream properly. However, this may be because I did not let the serum dry in for a long enough time. I haven't experienced this before just using the cream, so it's probably something I just have to try my hand at. However, it does not do much either, since you still have to avoid touching your face too much - and then it will not be peeling either:)
The products work for me at least and I would definitely recommend them - and remember that it takes time, you cannot expect results after 1 day.
